When I first joined the Aggies I instantly fell in love with the people and atmosphere it creates, along with all the events. I’m currently in my third year of my Bachelor of Agriculture, majoring in Crop Science. I’m from just outside of Thorsby, AB, where I grew up on a grain farm.
Outside of school and Aggies, I like Ukrainian dancing, singing karaoke, and spending time with my friends and family.

Hey everyone! My name is Lauren and I am from Sturgeon County, Alberta. I’m in my third year of kinesiology, majoring in Adapted Physical Activity. I transferred from a science degree at MacEwan two years ago so this is my second year as an Aggie!

I’m currently in my 5th year of a BSc in environmental and conservation sciences degree. I grew up near Cochrane, Alberta where I was involved in 4-H and many other rural activities which gave me a deep appreciation for agriculture. As one of the Bar None 79 directors I am so excited to play a part in raising money for STARS air ambulance as they provide such an important service to rural communities. Being an Aggie for the last 4 years has been a blast and I’m so grateful I get to spend my last year as an Aggie planning our biggest, most successful yearly event! I can’t wait to see everyone at Bar None 79!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Carly Fraser, and I’m a third-year Animal Science student. I grew up in Rock Creek, BC, and have been involved in the 4-H program for over 10 years, which has given me the opportunity to become immersed in Canadian agriculture and grow up with an appreciation for agriculture.
Last year, I began judging 4-H shows across BC, as well as mentoring and advocating for youth involved in agriculture. This is also my third year as an Aggie! I joined the Aggies in my first year, and since then, I’ve made so many amazing friends and memories.
When I’m not studying, you can find me back home in the mountains snowboarding or spending time with animals. I’m so excited to be directing Bar None 79 and helping raise money for STARS Air Ambulance. I can’t wait to see all of you at Bar None!

Hey! I’m Alex, and I’m so excited to be one of your volunteer coordinators for Bar None 79! This is my 2nd year in the Ag club, and my last year of Psychology (so I can totally read your mind).
If I’m not studying in the law library, then I’m probably planning my next hike, or headed out to Kananaskis to go riding!
