Hannah Whittal
3rd Year Representative
Hi there! My name is Hannah, and I’m starting my third year of a BSc in Agriculture, majoring in animal science. I’m from a small beef and grain mixed farm just outside of Legal, AB., where I am the sixth generation to farm. We raise Simmental and Angus cattle, and grow barley, oats, and canola. I am a former 4-H member, where I raised and showed simmental cattle. Luckily, I am still heavily involved in our operations at home, so I get to experience agriculture all around me. I joined the Ag Club because I knew I could meet a group of friends who share my background, interests, and passions. This year I am the club’s third-year rep, and I’m excited to be here! I took on this role because I love being on the club’s exec team, and have experience in event planning. I look forward to putting on an awesome grad for our graduating Aggies this year. If you’re wondering whether or not you should join our club, do it!! The Ag Club has been my only experience of somewhat normal university life through Covid, and they truly are my family, and my home. You won’t regret joining, so I hope to see you at our events!

Home for me is a small beef cattle operation in the small town of Stavely, AB. Ag Club has been my home away from home; it’s the perfect group of people to rely on to have a good time! I’m beyond excited to step into an executive position and help plan some amazing events. See you at the next Ag Club function!
