Vice President External: Cassidy Yasinski

Hey! I’m Cassidy Yasinski and I’m your Vice President External this year! This will be my third year in Ag Club and second year on the executive as I held the position of secretary last year. I grew up in small town Manning, Alberta and I’m one that didn’t grow up on a farm but wished they did! I now spend almost all of my time on the farm, either in the tractor or with the cows. I am in the fifth and final year of my combined Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education program. I look forward to making the most of my last year with the Aggies!

Public Relations: Heidi Trenson

Hi, I am Heidi.  I’m from a beef and grain farm outside of Rimbey Alberta and I was in 4-H for nine years. I am currently getting a degree in Agriculture, with a major in Animal Science and I transferred here from Red Deer College.

Secretary: Genna Friend

Genna Friend was raised on a small beef and grain farm just outside Rosalind Alberta along with her parents and three siblings. Though not overly involved on the farm beside chasing and tagging cattle, fixing fence, and other jobs here and there, Genna has a great appreciation for what being raised on a farm taught her, and the appreciation has only grown more since being involved with the Agriculture Club.

Genna is going into her third year at the University of Alberta and her first year in the Honors in Physiology program. This will also be Genna’s third year as an Aggie. Genna has held two previous positions in Ag club including First-year rep., and Women;s sports rep. Genna currently holds the position as Secretary and hopes to keep the club as organized as possible with all the shenanigans that happen throughout the year!

Bar None Directors:

Dana Stoyberg

Hey, my name is Dana Stoyberg and I am one of the Bar None Directors for 2018. I was raised in Red Deer, AB, and my family farms west of Spruce View where we raised both commercial and purebred cattle, along with growing grain and hay. I am very thankful that I was able to grow up in a bigger city, but also get to stay close to my roots on our family farm, I got the best of both worlds.
